‘A trip of the past’ task is carried out with the help of the National Archives or
the Town Hall. Students gather information about the places of cultural
heritage in the city or region.Three places are chosen and students create a
map, locate the places and compare their look and the purpose of use within
the last one hundred years.This map is converted into an interactive one and
will be used in the following mobilities.

Class 4d took up the historical project A trip of the past being a part of our school KA229 International Erasmus+ Project. On 23rd May the children admitted historical workshops in The City Museum of Częstochowa entitled: 100 years of history of Częstochowa in the postcards and photographs.

On 23rd May the children admitted historical workshops in The City Museum of Częstochowa entitled: 100 years of history of Częstochowa in the postcards and photographs.

Pupils gathered information on the historical and cultural heritage sites placed in our city, they took some photos on the presented buildings and what they looked like 100 years ago. With the help of adults they were analyzing their appearance, environment and the functions. The next phase of the project was a guided walk throuht the city centre. The children took a chance of finding the mentioned sites of interest, they could take photos on their own and compare them later on.

At the end of the trip students climbed up a tower in The City Museum of Częstochowa, and could sightsee as well as observe the panorama of our beautiful town.
