‘The legend of my city or region’ it is the project based on the meeting with an
expert (from The City Library, or a historian ), who is invited by each school.
During the lecture, students listen and draw their own pictures, illustrations.
They follow – up activity is to write the legend and provide visual aspects –
pictures. Students will exchange the legends, which are translated into
English and send the final product to participating schools. The legends are
distributed among the classes and read.

LEGEND OF MY REGION

In this activity, the Spanish students show a typical legend from the Alicante region. This legend tells the story about a giant warrior that figths againts a Morish chief. During this fight, the giant hits the mountain with his sword and that is the reason why the mountain has a cut on its top.
